We at Gizmodo are providers. We provide. If we have a little loaf, a little fishes, we break them up and spread them around, pro bono. And by pro bono we mean we make you work for it, because that’s what we’re going to do.
See, we have three more Gmail invites, and we want to give them to you, so we’re going to have a little competition. Three competitions, really, so three chances to win. All three contests will end this Friday (the 18th) at Midnight EST, so you better get crackin’.

The first contest is the ‘Future Gadget’ contest. It can be fake. It can be funny. It can be realistic and hopefully useful. It should include a picture, and I’ll be honest here, the better looking your picture, the better your chances of winning. This is the one all you industrial design majors have a head start on. We reserve the right to show your entry. Judging is entirely subjective and we’ll probably have been drinking.
The second contest is ‘Gadget Junkie’ contest. This one is easy. Simply place all your gadgets in one room, on a table or something, and take a picture. You’ll get points for the amount of gadgets and even more points for the variety and rarity. We reserve the right to show your entry. Judging is entirely subjective and we’ll have probably gotten through the liquor and on to the blow.
The final contest is the ‘Gizmodo Promoto’ contest. This is for all of us with no design skills and no money to buy lots of gadgetry. All you have to do is get ‘Gizmodo.com’ onto something large and obnoxiously public, like a sign in Times Square or something, or small and adorable, like the edge of a mass-produced microprocessor. Of course, ‘do no harm’ is the rule here, and if you end up in jail, it’s not our fault — at least you’ll have a Gmail account to comfort yourself with. We reserve the right to show your entry. Judging is entirely subjective and we’ll probably just have one of the interns throw darts at the screen until we have a winner.
Here’s how to enter: Send an email to [email protected] — only that address will accept contest entries, any sent to a gizmodo.com address will be junked — with the Subject reflecting which contest you are entering. You may enter as many times as you like (with a different, unique entry, of course) and you may enter across contests (although unless you just happen to be exceptionally lucky, we’ll likely not give two or three Gmail accounts to a single person — we want to spread it around a little).
