A new feature of Year in Search for 2022 allows you to check up, not just on worldwide trends, but also local ones. Find out what’s been going on where you live, or in your hometown.
Trust me: it’s illuminating. For instance, I found out that in Baltimore, MD— where I grew up—the top trending recipe search for the year was “baby formula.” Yikes. In case you’ve forgotten there was a nationwide shortage of baby formula that lasted months, this past spring and summer.
Conversely, in New York City, where I live currently, “green goddess salad” was top of mind in the recipe category.
