There are so many options when it comes to picking out the right pair of earbuds. If you’re already using a Google Pixel smartphone, then you’d be remise to not consider pairing it with the Google Pixel Buds 2. These lightweight and comfortable earbuds sound great and are reasonably priced. Normally, you’d find them selling for $229, but a deal at Amazon has them reduced momentarily by $40. That ends up taking the price down by 17%, leaving you only having to pay $189 for a limited time.
Twist-to-Adjust
Google prioritized comfort with the Pixel Buds Pro 2. The earbuds are small so do not feel intrusive when sitting inside your ear all day long. One of the smartest design decisions made here is that you can control how secure the earbuds sit. Once you place the earbuds in your ear, you can twist them to adjust how tight or loose they feel. You can cater it to whatever activity you’re participating in.
Say you’re just sitting at your desk at work. A more relaxed fit is probably suffice, so you can keep the earbuds loose. This also opens up the seal so you can better hear what is going on around you.
Alternatively, maybe you’re at the gym, running on the treadmill, and would prefer a bit more security. You can lock in the earbuds by twisting them tighter to minimize the risk of them falling out during high-intensity movement. This also has the added benefit of creating a stronger seal which blocks out more outside noises from getting it.
The earbuds also support active noise cancellation that works together with the silent seal. Together, they are better able to eliminate distracting background sounds than the previous iterations of the Pixel Buds.
The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are also intuitive and can adjust the level of volume and noise cancellation based on your action. Though Conversation Detection, the earbuds can identify intelligently when you begin speaking with someone nearby. They will then turn on transparency mode which allows outside noises to filter though, allowing you to clearly hear what the person you are speaking with is saying—all while the earbuds stay in your ear with no intervention from you.
Google has its second-generation Pixel Buds Pro available in a handful of different colors. The current stock include hazel, olive, peony, and porcelain. The color selection only affects the buds themselves, with the case retaining its high contrast white exterior with dark gray interior. The good news too is that all four color options are part of the ongoing Amazon sale, so you’ll be saving yourself $40 no matter which style you end up choosing.
