If memory serves, I4U brought us the scoop on the GooRoo Rugboard back in August. Now they bring us a hands-on review of this wireless thin-client based on Tatung’s WebPad hardware. Ships with your choice of operating system (Windows CE, XP embedded, or Linux) and a host of custom apps. Still no hard drive, but between the USB port and PCMCIA slot, it seems mass storage is at least a possibility. It’s hard not to think that perhaps it would just be better to pick up a bargain Tablet PC, though.
