Griffin Technologies has quietly put up the iBeam on their website (without the usual accompanying press release) of a pair of plug-in accessories that add a flashlight and a laser pointer to your iPod or iPod mini. The $20 pair of plugs (you can only use one at a time) come with caps for easy attachment to your keychain. I’ve no idea how good they are compared to their respective competitors, but I’m all about plugging things into the iPod – that’s half the reason they’re so great in the first place (and why its so hard for other companies to play catch up).
