GUARD LION CQ-1 Series Super Safety Suitcase

China wins. When any country can support an entire company dedicated to purveying products that produce electric shocks, it’s clear that it is going to succeed in the international market in a way Geneva Convention-signing countries never will (okay, maybe they signed it, but nobody cool actually adheres to it). Consider the Yantai Qinglu Automation Company’s GUARD LION CQ-1 Series Super Safety Suitcase, the “Anti-lossing, Anti-stealing, Anti-robbing” briefcase that has a whole-surface high-voltage electrical pulse system that can be activated not only by triggering a touch-sensitive sensor but also via wireless remote control. It would be hard not to set your CQ-1 out in a conspicuous, high-theft place just for fun.

But briefcases aren’t the only product that Yantai Qinglu Automation has electrified. They also sell the Taxi Protection Series, a 50KV electric shocking cushion for encouraging customers to leave a very generous tip. Prices aren’t listed on their English-language site, but does it really matter? You can’t put a price on entertainment. (Thanks, Xeni!)
