Treonauts had some hands-on time with the Treo 650 at CTIA and took a few more pictures and shared a few more impressions about the upgrade. What I want to know is, since we already know AT&T/Cingular is getting the unit—with EDGE, no less—when are they going to get the phone to market, and will the Bluetooth be crippled? (Update: Just to be clear, when I say “know” I don’t mean there has been an announcement, but I think it’s pretty widely-acknowledge that they’ll be the first GSM carrier. Still, just a guess.)
I’ve asked my people at AT&T, but haven’t heard anything back yet. I have a personal stake in this one, too. If AT&T doesn’t cripple the Bluetooth Dial Up Networking, I’ve got a few hundred dollars to throw at them.
