It’s great to be able to watch movies or shows on a huge OLED TV with 4K content and brilliant contrast, but not every room in your house needs that kind of picture. For a lot of us, it sure isn’t worth the money it takes to do that. If you just need a TV so you can keep up with sports or to turn on in the background while you’re doing something else, something like this Hisense TV will do just fine. It’s perfect for the bedroom or for college students to have at the dorm. It’s even works nicely as a option to keep in the garage if you find yourself working in there frequently.

Right now, Amazon happens to have this Hisense TV on sale for up to 35% off. It’s available in two different sizes. The 40-inch model normally sells for $180, but has now dropped to just $160, while the 32-inch model that typically listed at $150 has come down to just $98. It’s pretty cool you can grab a full-on smart TV now for under a hundred bucks.

Of the two models, the 32-inch can display in up to 720p while the 40-inch is capable of up to 1080p. Both  are LCD screens with a full array of LED backlights.

Equipped With Roku TV

These Hisense TVs come with a full Roku TV interface. With Roku TV, you can enjoy watching shows, movies, and other content from all the popular streaming services like Netflix, HBO Max, Disney Plus, Hulu, and more. Roku even has some of the more niche streamers like Nebula, Shudder, and Dropout. On top of that, you also have access to a number of free channels like Tubi, Pluto TV, and Roku’s own services so you can enjoy a ton of content without having to sign up for any monthly subscription packages.

The smart TVs are also compatible with Google Assistant and Alexa. If you have one of these smart home speakers, you’ll be able to control your TV using just your voice. Use it to turn on or off the screen or to raise or lower the volume without having to reach up for the remote.

The remote itself also has its own integrated microphone to help make searching for content much easier. You can just hold down the microphone buttons and speak the words, “In the Mouth of Madness,” which is a much faster way to get Sam Neill on your screen losing his gourd than it is to type out all those words.
