Homebrew FM Radio Stations

By

Reading time 1 minute

For the first time since I went on that church ski trip and stole a bunch of wine from the hotel restaurant and huddled in a freezing bus getting hammered, I have a reason to go to Minneapolis. The Walker Art Center is sponsoring a most excellent program called “Radio Re-Volt” which teaches participants how to build their own $20 sub-milliwatt radio station. Since the program started over 500 micro-FM stations have started broadcasting, covering ranges of around 200 feet or so.
