Apple’s 11-inch iPad features a large, high-resolution Liquid Retina screen, a powerful A16 processor, and plenty of battery life in one portable device. The Touch ID fingerprint reader on the top button lets you securely log into your account, and the 12-megapixel selfie camera sits at the edge of the device, keeping you centered during video calls. This model also supports the Apple Pencil (USB-C) and the Magic Keyboard Folio, letting you create written content and edit files.
An 11-inch iPad with the A16 chip and Apple Pencil support
Apple markets the 11-inch iPad as its “everyday” tablet for people who watch TV, browse the internet, do homework, and work on various creative projects. This model includes an 11-inch Liquid Retina display, the A16 processor, 12-megapixel front and rear cameras, a USB-C connector, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and up to 10 hours of battery life, all in a slender aluminum body available in blue, pink, yellow, and silver.
The 11-inch iPad’s Liquid Retina display delivers clear colors and is ideal for watching videos, reading articles and magazines, and editing photos and videos. True Tone technology dynamically adjusts the display’s color tone based on ambient lighting, so whether you’re at home on the couch or sitting at a desk, the text you view looks natural.
With the A16 processor, apps such as email, messaging, and social media are always quick to open. It also supports multiple apps at once, enabling rapid switching between apps, and playing graphically intensive games on the iPad doesn’t cause performance lag.
The 12-megapixel Center Stage front-facing camera is placed at the edge of the iPad and continuously tracks you during FaceTime video calls. Even if you prop the iPad up in a keyboard case, moving around during a video call keeps you in focus. The 12-megapixel rear camera captures sharp images and records 4K video, and you can scan documents in seconds.
Support for the Apple Pencil (USB-C) transforms your iPad into either a digital notebook or sketch pad. The Magic Keyboard Folio also adds a full keyboard and trackpad for typing documents and emails. Both accessories must be purchased separately.
For battery life, surfing the internet over Wi-Fi or watching video provides up to 10 hours of use per charge. So no matter how many hours you spend in class, in meetings, or traveling, your iPad should last all day. You charge your iPad via the USB-C port, which you can also use to connect cameras, external hard drives, and monitors.
You can unlock your iPad, sign in to apps, and make purchases with Apple Pay instantly using the Touch ID fingerprint sensor inside the top button. Landscape-oriented stereo speakers deliver high-quality audio for movies and music, and Wi-Fi 6 provides fast downloads and streaming.
There are three storage sizes: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, depending on how many apps you plan to install, how many photos you want stored locally, and how many movies and TV programs you’d like to download directly to your iPad. The Apple iPad 11-inch combines a large screen with fast performance and long battery life in a compact tablet you can easily take anywhere.
