Getting a new phone is exciting – until you look at the crazy prices most recent models come with. There’s no reason to pay the full price, though, as there are multiple ways of saving big on your purchase. Shoppers looking to pick up a new phone while also switching carriers can take advantage of this rare deal we spotted at Mint Mobile.
The carrier is offering the Galaxy A17 5G phone for $200 off when you subscribe to any one of its 12-month data plans. This brings the price of this $270 phone to only $70. You can also get 50% off the Unlimited data plan and pay just $180 for a yearly subscription instead of the usual $360.
Trading in an older device can shave a few more bucks off the total. The exact value you get out of your gadget will depend on its condition and model. Recent devices will naturally net you the biggest savings. You can use Mint’s own calculator to get an estimate. Just note the $200 discount offer won’t last long, so better hurry to grab it.
High-speed data, unlimited texts and calls
The Unlimited data plan lets you browse, stream, game, and stay connected without constantly worrying about running out of data. You get free mobile hotspot access, so you can share your internet with other devices when you don’t have Wi-Fi available! Additionally, Mint Mobile offers free calling to Mexico, Canada, and the UK, along with unlimited talk and text. Data speeds are pretty impressive, which makes the whole experience a lot smoother.
As for the Samsung Galaxy A17, this budget-friendly phone has a lot to like about it. It comes with a really spacious 6.7-inch Full HD display that delivers incredibly detailed, vibrant visuals. It’s pretty bright, so you’ll have no problem using it outdoors in the sun either! The phone’s got an Exynos 1330 Octa-Core processor, which delivers decent performance for most day-to-day tasks. It should be able to get you through a full day without any significant slowdowns. And talking about all-day usage, the 5,000mAh battery is going to keep your phone running for hours with ease.
The Samsung Galaxy A17 phone can be grabbed for $200 less when you sign up for a 12-month data plan. You can choose from four data plans; 6GB, 17GB, 23GB, and Unlimited. All the plans cost $180 right now, which means you can get unlimited data for the same price as the basic 6GB plan.
