A good pair of noise cancelling headphones can be a complete gamechanger. Whether you’re listening while at your desk at work, working out in the gym, or commuting on the train, it’s nice to be able to turn off the world around you so you can focus on only what you want to hear. Active noise cancellation not long ago was a hot commodity you’d pay a premium for to have on your headphones. Today, though, you can get a solid set that support ANC for under a hundred bucks. Look here at the Sony WH-CH720N. These wireless headphones have noise cancellation and normally sell for $180. However, for a limited time, you can grab them for more than half off. The price has dropped at Amazon to just $88, saving you $92.
Comfortable, lightweight design
Not only do these headphones support active noise cancellation. They are also Sony lightest pair of headphones to do so. They weigh in at only 192g, making them great for all-day wear. Less weight means better comfort and less fatigue throughout the day. On the topic of comfort, the Sony WH-CH720N have plush cushions that feel nice against your ears during extended use. They’re a great pair to grab and take with you before heading out the door for the day.
Adjustable Ambient Sound mode
You can adjust the level to which you are hearing external noises while wearing the Sony WH-CH720N headphones. There are 20 levels to be exact. With ambient mode turned all the way up, you’ll hear everything around you from traffic noise to café conversations to transport announcements. All the way down, you’ll be hearing just your music with everything else muted much lower. You can also enable “Focus on Voice” which will allow you to chat with someone nearby without having to remove the headphones.
Listen longer
Battery life is solid. With these Sony headphones, you can expect them to last for as long as 35 hours on a single charge. When it comes time you need to boost them back up, just a quick charge no more than 10 minutes can bring them back to life with up to four and a half hours more of playtime. Three minutes can grant you as much as a full 60 minutes of extra listening.
