President Donald Trump is making the commencement speech today at the US Coast Guard Academy graduation ceremony in Connecticut. It’s the president’s first appearance since Trump’s complete and total meltdown last night following the revelations that he had told FBI Director James Comey he didn’t want Michael Flynn investigated.
The event begins at 11am ET, 8am PT and is streaming on YouTube.
Trump recently gave the commencement address at Liberty University, which was bizarre to say the least. (He called his critics “pathetic.”) It should be interesting to see if Trump goes off-script and has any words of wisdom for the young graduates. Something that involves avoiding obstruction of justice would be nice.
Defense Secretary Kelly had quite a line while opening for Trump:

Update, 11:51am: President Trump just took the mic to start his address.
