Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina has gotten the axe from HP’s board of directors. That’s not important today (unless you’re riding the currently 11% stock jump since the news broke), but gives us hope that HP may bootstrap itself again into a pioneering computer and consumer electronics company. They’ve got a lot of good products out there, but now maybe they can show a unified front.
