HP has sent Pocket PCs into space, packing iPAQs on board the International Space Station Soyuz 8 space craft, to be used as, well, PDAs. The iPAQ h5550s will be used to check email, record daily procedures, and read e-books, among other things. The two units will stay on board the space station and two additional units will be added by the next flight. I wonder if they just use standard WiFi on board the ISS or something all extra spacey.
