HP’s newest camera in its R-series range, the Photosmart R507, is a fine looking bit of hardware, despite my (admittedly unfair) predisposition against any camera branded with PC vendor’s stamp. The 4.1-megapixel camera has a bead-blasted aluminum front (using beads from real hippies!) and a 3x optical zoom Pentax lens.
As suits a consumer camera such as this, the R507 will come with 32MB of memory in-built, with additional memory capabilities available via a standard SD-card slot. Strangely, no MSRP on the press release.
