Brighthand has scored details about the rest of this year’s iPaq lineup, including word that the iPaq sleeve add-on system (like those pictured to the right) will finally be phased out, due to the proliferation of CF and SDIO cards offering the same functions. It was a good idea at the time, but I’m not sorry to see them go. Fortunately, HP is bringing in some new juice to compliment the old, including a new hx4700 model with 128MB of RAM, plus a 20MB ‘File Store’; a h5550 replacement labeled as the hx2700, which will carry over the fingerprint scanner from the h5550; also, a rz1700, which will replace the h1940; and lastly the h6210, the upcoming smartphone for HP that’s got every PocketPC fan a’twitter.
