This new crop of tiny projectors are exciting, both because smaller things are better things, and also because they portend cheaper high-quality normal-sized projectors in the future (I’m still waiting for a quality 1024 by 768 pixel unit under $1,000). IBM’s M400 probably isn’t something to consider for a home theater on the cheap—especially since it’s $1,850—but it gets high marks from PC Mag as a unit that can be thrown into a carrying case (it’s only 2.4 pounds) and used for small business meetings.
