Ricoh is making it a bit easier for us porn junkies with media management problems. I am sure everyone agrees with me when I say the hardest thing about life is actually putting a DVD in the drive to determine how much room is left on it. That disc eject button can be such a strain, then worrying about autorun and all. It’s enough to drive you to drink! Ricoh has some new fancy DVD sleeves that have a windowed guide that can estimate how much room is left on the DVD. How does it work? Well, it just kind of measures the bands of data already written on the DVD. No fancy tricks. Just good, old-fashioned offset printing.
