Without getting too into speculation on ‘why,’ suffice it to say that you can consider any dreams about PCs utilizing the new Intel Grantsdale chipsets as a WiFi access point dashed, at least for now. Although that was one of the major selling points of the new standard — PCI Express and DDR2 support are some others — Intel has said delays have prevented them from shipping the integrated WiFi support for the chipset until Q4 of this year.
