IOGear’s new Wireless Bluetooth Mini Mouse has no bundled Bluetooth receiver—if you don’t already have a Bluetooth-equipped computer, you’re out of luck. That’s good as far as I’m concerned, as everyone should have Bluetooth now (or be willing to pay $20 and get a Bluetooth USB dongle) and it’s a waste to keep treating Bluetooth as something that should exist on a per-product basis. All that aside, my favorite feature of this new portable cordless mouse actually has to do with its use with a cord. By attaching a USB cable to the mouse, you can recharge its internal battery while continuing to use it as a wired, wireless mouse.
Mac or Windows is just fine, and you can pick it up for around $70.
