The new show is called Glare, and it is a drama about the colonization of space. Just like Westworld, Abrams will be an executive producer.

Glare’s pilot is being written by Javier Gullón (Enemy), who will also executive produce the show. Details are really scarce, including when we could expect to see the show. Hopefully, it has a shorter production time than the first season of Westworld did.

All we know is that each episode is an hour, it’s about colonizing another planet, and Bad Robot is involved. Still, we’re curious. The shows Abrams produces have always been, at the very least, interesting.

Are we sure it’s called “Glare” and not “Lens Flare”? I really wanted to make this joke and was excited it wasn’t already posted.
