I like these all-in-one TV games systems as much as the next guy – I think they’re a neat throwback to the pixels of yore, and they price is right – but kept wondering why they were releasing them without the ability for two people to play at the same time. So many of these great old games were best played when screaming at a friend, trying to distract them long enough to surreptitiously wiggle their joystick cable just loose enough from the console to make their paddle go dead. The new Jakks TV Atari Paddle goes one better – you can actually disconnect Player Two right from Player One’s paddle. It’s a great new feature, but one that they for some reason neglect to mention in this TIME Magazine review.
