Those of you lucky enough to have one of these sitting by your desk will wanna pair it with LaCie's new 526 LCD. It offers a 95% Adobe RGB gamut, which in English means the colors you see on the screen are the colors you'll get when you print something. That's especially important if you're a digital photographer, 'cause it'll match what you capture on camera with what you see on screen, and later print on paper.

The LCD packs a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. It'll cost you $1,999 when it's released later this month. It's not cheap, but worth the splurge for all you pros out there.

Actually, not quite. It means the monitor is capable of displaying 95% of the range of color. Actually matching the monitor to prints still requires a color management workflow.
