We were saddened to hear of the passing of science fiction pioneer Larry Townsend, who helped to invent the queer erotic SF subgenre with his 2069 trilogy in the late 1960s. His most recent book, The Time Masters, is a erotic novel that includes aliens who want to save the Earth from destruction, and a mysterious set of ancient wormholes that all terminate near our planet.
