If you consider yourself something of a handyman, my guess is that your toolbox at home has become increasingly filled with laser guided goodies over the last few years. That having been said, feast your eyes on this new laser guided hand saw. I could be wrong, but it seems like it would be fairly difficult to maintain a straight line with the beam flailing wildly about as you work — but hey...it has a laser on it! At first I looked at this and thought it was stupid and useless. Then I looked at it even more and realized it was extremely stupid and useless.
Look at where the laser is positioned. Look at how he's using the saw. Who actually saws like that? Most of the time you'll either saw with the blade perpendicular to the item being sawn, or with the saw angled completely opposite from the manner shown, so that the laser would be shining off into space away from the board.
It's not just dumb, but it doesn't even work as advertised.
