Need new artwork in your home? How about one that you build yourself? LEGO’s Art lineup has some really cool sets that are fun to put together and can be hung on a wall or displayed on your shelf once you’re done.
The LEGO Art Milky Way Galaxy building set is now selling for $187 at Amazon, which is $13 less than its usual $200 price. It includes a buildable frame, so you can display it just like a regular art piece anywhere you like. The current discount makes it a little easier to grab one, and it could also make a nice Christmas gift for a LEGO fan in your life if you’ve started your holiday shopping.
Fun to put together
This Milky Way building set comes together in a little over 3,000 pieces. It includes some of the galaxy’s most famous stars, clusters, and other spectacles, such as Trappist-1, the Pleiades, the Crab Nebula, and the Pillars of Creation. The layered bricks create a 3D texture effect, so the final product won’t look like a plain, boring flat picture.
The set is made with five different panels. Each has its own instruction booklet that walks you through each step with both text and pictures. And while it’s pretty easy to follow, you can also use the LEGO Builder app if you’d like a more interactive, 3D experience. It lets you save sets, rotate blocks, and view your build from different angles.
In addition to the main piece, you’ll build a frame to finish it too, and once completed, this building set measures over 15.5 in. (40 cm) high, 25.5 in. (65 cm) wide, and 2 in. (5 cm) deep. It’s going to look great in your living room and can even add a bit of personality to your library or home office!
The entire thing is really fun to build. You can dedicate an entire weekend to it, and even work on it with friends or family if you’ve got space enthusiasts around! This set normally goes for $200, but a nice $13 discount has dropped the price to $187. This isn’t the lowest ever price we’ve seen for the build, but it’s still a nice discount that lets you pick the set up without paying the full price for it. The offer is also open to both Prime and non-Prime members right now.
Note that early Black Friday deals can end soon, so it’s better to grab this one without wasting time.
