Building a Sphere From Lego Is an Incredible Technical Challenge

But through clever use of Lego Technic pieces for the globe’s inner structure that’s then wrapped in an outer mosaic of lightweight flat tile pieces, this set realizes the impossible and recreates our spherical home—although on a much smaller scale.
