As The Last Jedi release date draws near, every bit of new information only whips us into a greater frenzy of excitement—and this behind-the-scenes glimpse of Daisy Ridley, Gwendoline Christie, John Boyega, Adam Driver, and Kelly Marie Tran training to kick ass in the film’s fight scenes definitely qualifies.
We give a lot of props, rightfully, to Star Wars films’ towering special effects. But this video proves that there’s plenty of old-fashioned sweat and hard work propelling the story, too. (We’re somehow even more jazzed to see that explosive Finn-Phasma brawl than we even thought possible.)
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is out December 15.
