A quiet cool mist humidifier with a 2.5-liter top-fill tank
This device was specifically designed to be easy to refill, easy to clean, and quiet enough that you can simply place it in a room and “forget” about it. This humidifier uses ultrasonic technology to produce a cool mist. It also has a top-fill design, so you can pour water directly into the unit from above instead of removing the reservoir and flipping it over to fill it.
The top-fill design lets you refill faster whenever you need to replenish the unit. Simply open the lid, pour water from a pitcher or cup into the tank, and close the lid. No longer do you have to wrestle with an inverted tank and risk spilling water when you return from the sink.
Cleaning the humidifier is equally fast and simple. The tank’s large opening allows quick access, and the unit’s base has no hard-to-reach crevices where debris can accumulate, so you can quickly wipe down each section. Regular cleaning maintains the freshness of the mist and ensures proper function.
The 2.5-liter tank allows up to 25 hours of continuous operation on the unit’s lowest speed. This means you can fill the tank before bed, and it will continue to relieve congested sinuses and a dry throat throughout the night and into the next morning.
When placing a humidifier in a bedroom, quiet operation is important. The Levoit produces sound levels equivalent to whispering, approximately 26 to 28 decibels, so it doesn’t disrupt your ability to fall asleep or wake a sleeping infant. Many people also find the humidifier’s gentle humming soothing.
Placement of any ultrasonic humidifier plays a role in its performance. Placing the humidifier on a bedside stand, dresser, or table several feet off the ground lets the mist disperse evenly throughout the surrounding area before settling. Also, positioning the unit slightly away from wall surfaces and electronic equipment helps minimize moisture accumulation in unwanted locations.
This product includes safety features that help ensure safe operation. If the water level falls below a certain point, it automatically shuts off, and this humidifier is made with BPA-free components. Beyond bedroom comfort, the humidifier has several other uses. These include placement in a home office, a nursery, or even a room full of plants that need extra moisture.
Because of its compact size, this humidifier fits easily on a nightstand or dresser, adding minimal visual clutter to any room. As a result, the Levoit Top Fill Humidifier for Bedroom is an ideal solution for maintaining optimal indoor humidity levels year-round.
