Lexar LDP-400 and LDP-600

Reading time 1 minute

Lexar is in the flash player market with two new players, the LDP-400 and the LDP-600. The 400 is a joke: if a player is going to have 128MB of memory in this day and age it better have some amazing secondary quality, like the ability to grant the power of flight to humans or remove the power of flight from ducks. In fact, the only good thing I can see is that it has a built-in USB male plug—all flash players should, I think.

The LDP-600 has a little room to maneuver, because it has an SD-card slot so you can toss on an extra 1GB of memory as necessary and a built-in FM radio. Oh, and it’s about $100.
