This LG 34U530A-W 34-Inch UltraWide Monitor features a 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide screen that lets you fit more on one display than on a standard 16:9 monitor. It also has a 100Hz refresh rate, VESA DisplayHDR 400, and a very narrow bezel design that prevents the screen from appearing bulkier on your desk. The white finish of this monitor sets it apart from typical black displays, and the tilt, height, and swivel adjustable mounts provide greater flexibility for setting up your monitor once it is placed in front of you.

Amazon is selling the LG 34U530A-W 34-Inch UltraWide Monitor for $230, down from $300, for a $70 reduction, or 23% off.

A massive monitor to add to your home setup

The monitor has an aspect ratio of 21:9 with a resolution of 2560 x 1080, so you can have a larger view area to use in horizontal mode for using two windows at once, showing large timelines, working with large spreadsheets, looking at multiple websites at once, and having extra room to work when you need to. The display has a matte finish, which should help reduce glare from overly bright lighting, and it’s a good choice if you prefer working on monitors without a glossy finish. While the 21:9 aspect ratio is one of the most interesting features of this monitor, how well the image remains stable (even when viewed off-center) is just as important, which is why the monitor uses IPS technology to provide better viewing angles.

VESA DisplayHDR 400 and a 99% sRGB color gamut make this monitor capable of delivering higher levels of brightness, contrast, and color than a standard wide monitor. Smoother scrolling, streaming, and other screen movement on a monitor this wide are also supported by the 100Hz refresh rate.

HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB Type-C are included as flexible connectivity options for the most common configurations that people use. The USB Type-C port supports both display output and data transfer, enabling easy, single-cable access to a laptop and eliminating the messy cable clutter that typically builds up around a desk. You can also adjust the stand to position the 34-inch display using intuitive tilt, height, and swivel controls.

Additional features include built-in stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio. While external speakers are generally better, having audio built into the monitor means you don’t have to purchase or locate another device right away. LG touts the Switch app, which lets you split the screen into up to six parts, create custom layouts, and initiate video calls with a single hotkey. For $70 less than its normal price, the LG 34U530A-W 34-Inch UltraWide Monitor offers a wide IPS display, HDR capabilities, USB Type-C, and an adjustable stand for $230, down from the original $300 price tag.
