LG is planning on releasing a 5-megapixel camera in April of this year, presumably only in Korea to start. They’re taking a swipe at Samsung, says MobileMag, who already has a 5-megapixel camera on the market, but lacks features such as auto-focus. I don’t know if this is a picture of the upcoming phone or not, but one can hope. One can also beg and plead the phone vendors to start building in optical zoom lenses, as well. I’ll take a battery life hit if I know I can finally toss out my little cameras.
