It is good to know that this horrible week is capped off by a single bit of good news: Liebermann Computers is dead. I don’t hate small businesses or anything—in fact, I love watching well-run startups kick the ass of the big players (see: NewEgg)—but when a company whose stock in trade was not innovation or good prices but instead hyperbole and non-stop smack talking, it’s reassuring to know that the majority of consumers didn’t buy any of it.
And don’t write me about how mega-amazo-rad your Go-L computer is and how you are lamenting your inability to purchase ridiculously overpriced computers. I’m sure someone will rise up in Go-L’s place if enough people continue to be slack-jawed by over-the-top descriptions of everyday hardware.
