The LighTalk pen is pretty great. You can use it like a regular pen to draw a doodle, then ‘scan’ the image to activate a series of LEDs, then flick it back and forth to achieve a persistence-of-vision display of whatever it is you’ve scanned. I can think of dozens of uses for something like this, the vast majority of which are totally vulgar. Okay, all of them.
