I woke up this morning excited to finally see the Motorola ROKR, the ‘iTunes phone’ that was supposed to be shown off this Thursday morning. Unfortunately, it seems some carrier has strong-armed Moto into holding off on the phone launch. I spoke to some Motorola reps this morning anyway (before I had read this story, actually), and they were doing a pretty good job pretending the announcement never even existed. The worst part is, Motorola has apparently been showing off the phone to journalists earlier in the week. At this point I don’t even care when they launch it—I just want to see it.
