Well, I was completely unaware that Palm was capable of making a low-end phone, but it is true. The 680 will be available worldwide, and the only confirmed detail is that it will include a VGA camera. Uh, VGA—yeah this phone is going to suck. It will be roughly the same size of the 750v. Uberphones is suggesting that this lowbie will lack any of the nice traditional features of Treo smartphone like push e-email, 3G, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. That’s a damn shame—it better be freaking cheap.
