A Sydney, Australia man has been prosecuted for “behaving offensively in a public place” after walking down a beach taking pictures of topless sunbathers with his cameraphone. Peter Mackenzie was fined $500AU for the pictures he surreptitiously snapped while on his stroll, and said he felt he had “blemished 25 years of being a decent person.” His phone—the real victim in this case—was destroyed.
The Australian news seems to be missing the most intriguing part of this story: you can just walk down a beach and look at breasts? What a country! (Thanks, Matt!)
