Here’s some temptation to make even a Marvel Rivals superfan step away from the game for a few hours: an official Marvel Rivals concert. Marvel Rivals Galactic comes from Marvel and NetEase Games and will feature standout songs from the team-based hero shooter.
“Featuring a dynamic blend of a power-packed rock band, a sweeping symphonic orchestra, and soaring vocalists, the concert reimagines the game’s adrenaline-fueled soundtrack with exclusive, stage-ready live arrangements,” reads the official press release.
“Set against immersive, high-definition visuals of legendary heroes, villainous clashes, and shifting multiversal worlds, the show propels fans directly into the heart of the action through pure, kinetic sound. Fusing raw rock intensity with the cinematic grandeur of a full orchestra, this landmark event invites fans to assemble and experience the soundscape of Marvel Rivals like never before.”
Centering a live show around a video game isn’t a new idea—there’s currently a World of Warcraft orchestral concert touring the world, and The Legend of Zelda has one coming up in 2027. But Marvel Rivals is a relatively new addition, having released in late 2024, and it’s racked up a huge following with its ever-expanding roster of playable characters and other content. Plus, it has the built-in appeal of Marvel Comics to back up its popularity.
“Our goal from day one has been to make this the must-see concert for every Marvel Rivals fan,” said Shota Nakama, composer for Marvel Rivals, in the press release. “I’ve produced many concerts over the years, and I truly believe this will be one of our best.”
The bad news about Marvel Rivals Galactic is that unlike the game, you’ll need to be in a specific city to see it. Right now it has dates for London (October 22; ticket info here) and Los Angeles (November 1; ticket info here), with more to come in the future.
