All this is looking very conceptual and/or very expensive, but if you’ve got an industrial living space, why not pick up some industrial speakers. The website is hard to navigate, so don’t expect to put these into your shopping cart and check out online, but they won all sorts of awards and I’m sure they sound like a Sony walkman played through a frying pan, so there’s that.
Made almost completely of metal, they have a number of models including this one that looks like it can watch you while you sleep.
