Fusing musical prowess with rugged home improvement like a post punk Christopher Lowell, Christopher Bauder and those from TonLeiter (read: ToneLadder) have integrated MIDI with a standard household ladder. Literally becoming a musical ladder, plugging in the ladder will yield a slew of tones and soundloops when you trigger the sensors on each of the rungs. Says them: “Instead of keys and buttons, this input device is a piece of actual hardware, that everybody can touch and feel.” The ladders can also be used to trigger live video streams.
