Deadline reports Maggie Grace will star in Fiona, a feature film adaptation of the Knifepoint Horror podcast from director Nicholas McCarthy. Co-starring Steve Howey, the story concerns “a lonely, divorced doctor who falls in love with a mysterious woman in rural America, only to discover she is channeling the raw forces of Mother Nature toward an apocalyptic purpose. He must then decide whether to save the woman he loves or the world she intends to destroy.”

According to Bloody-Disgusting, Scary Movie 6 has been rated “R” for “crude sexual content, graphic nudity, strong violence, and drug content and language throughout.”

Enola Holmes must rescue Sherlock from kidnappers in time for her wedding to the Lord of Tewkesbury in the trailer for her third movie at Netflix.

A single mother is devoted to her “inhuman” and “alien-like” newborn in the trailer for the Turkish horror film, Mutter: Diary of a Mother.

True Detective
Nicolas Cage told Variety he hasn’t “signed on to anything” yet, but is indeed “talking” to the producers of True Detective about a potential starring role in season five.
I have no idea. I think they’re working on the material, but I haven’t heard about it in quite some time. I’m not signed on to anything; we’re just talking. I like Issa López a lot, and would be thrilled to work with her, but nothing is concrete. And I’ve never seen the first season of True Detective, but I’ve heard great things.

The Arrowverse
While promoting her new film Speed Demon to Comic Book Movie, Katie Cassidy, who played Black Canary in the Arrowverse, suggested the time is now for an Arrowverse reunion project.
I love playing that character. That character is so close to my heart. That time in my life is so close to my heart because we were up in Vancouver. It was eight years of our lives, and you were working with these people day in and day out, all day, every day, until they almost became your family. The whole experience was incredible.
I hope and wish, and we’ll see what the future holds, but to come back to it at some point and what that may look like… You see everywhere now they’re doing all these reboots or whatnot. Maybe there’s a world in which the universe continues in some way, and maybe that is on film.
Maybe, as I said, it’s a reboot, but it’s just such a strong universe and such a great fan base that it would be a shame not to give the fans, give the people, what they want, and they want more. I think bringing us back together is something that would be incredible. So, put it out there in the universe and to Greg Berlanti.
