Reading this review of the Milwaukee 6546 2.4-Volt Two Speed Screwdriver by Loyd Case got me wondering: where are the good enthusiast power tool review sites? Case treats the Milwaukee like just another computer peripheral, with ratings and all the normal ExtremeTech stuff, but considering his job is to take apart about a hojillion PCs every day, I don’t expect him to review anything else along those lines. Somebody else should pick up the slack, because right now I buy power tools by brand recognition, and if that world is anything like consumer electronics, that’s not always the smartest way to go about it.
And as for the 6546 itself? Case’s unit is several years old and he’s still raving about it. That’s high enough praise for me.
