Minolta has officially announced that DSLR camera we talked about a few days ago, the Dynax 7D/Maxxum 7 (the US gets the Maxxum name because we do everything to the max). It is 6.1-megapixels, has built-in anti-shake technology (developed by Mooninites?) and will use the Dynax AF set of Minolta lenses. No price yet, though, so we’ll just keep an eye on it for now and wait for some of the camera dorks to get their hands on review units.
Minolta also announced an 8-megapixel “SLR-type” DiMAGE called the A200 [the one of the right], if you want all the megapixels but not all the quality, control, or function of the 7D.
