Overpriced audio peripherals vendor Monster has announced a new iPod-to-car solution called the iCruze, designed to make it simple to connect Apple’s player to any car stereo and control it via the car’s integrated audio controls. It’s sort of hard to tell how effective something like this will be without a proper review, unfortunately, as simply attaching the iPod to a stereo isn’t that difficult of a maneuver—and certainly not one that justifies a $200 purchase price on its own. The other question I have is where the iPod is supposed to go in a standard iCruze installation. Does it just go in the glove box like in the BMW kit? I guess that’s up to the installer.
