Motorola has also announced an update to their Euro 3G smartphone, the A1000. The new A1010 keeps the touchscreen, but adds a 2-megapixel camera and support for TransFlash memory cards. In general, it looks like a fairly minor update, but if you’re a fan of Symbian slate-style smartphones, it’s not like you have a lot of choice in the first place.
Like the A1000, I wouldn’t expect this in North American markets. The A1010 should be available in Q4 of 2005.
