Mozongo reviews the Motorola MPx220, which has been out for a while, but has a new firmware that aims to resolve some of the issues people first experienced with the Windows Mobile handset. The biggest issue, the sound quality while making calls, appears to be fixed—that means it’s probably worth considering the phone again, especially considering some of the deals going around on it. The 1.3-megapixel camera is still all wet, though, so don’t expect any improvement there. I don’t know how difficult it would be to get an older model MPx220 flashed with the new firmware, but if you’ve already got one it looks like it might be worth finding out.
