This mPack P800 is of hearty, Taiwanese stock, with a heavy-lifting video compressor that will save video at resolutions even higher than its native 320 by 240 pixel screen. That’s handy for playing back the videos on a better quality screen, after either copying them off the device or playing them via its video out. It supports a variety of formats (including OGG Vorbis and Xvid) and comes in 40GB or 80GB models. If the screen isn’t a total travesty, it’ll be a contender—if it makes it stateside.
