When MTI Micro Fuel Cells decided to show off their ‘Mobion’ fuel cells, they threw one on the back of a Tapwave Zodiac, which as Tapland’s Scott Raulinaitis points out, makes it extremely clear exactly how big these cells will be. I wouldn’t mind the size, actually, if MTI could tell us exactly what sort of power time we could expect out of fill-your-own fuel cells. “2 to 10 times longer” is just a little too vague for me. Still, methanol-powered gadgets? Maybe I could start distilling my own at home.
