Gizmodo reader James Edmunds pointed out something that I hadn’t looked at in a while: you can get the 4GB microdrive-less Creative MuVo shells (the ones people are buying just to extract the 4GB CF drives from) on eBay really cheaply (between $25 – $35). If you’ve got some extra CF cards lying around, they make a heck of an MP3 player for not much investment.
